Recomendamos los pinceles de la línea Casan. Para cubrir la base podrías usar una brocha y lo adecuado es que sea un pelo suave, pelo sintético, de cabra o de pony. Siguiendo los usos actuales, los sintéticos son los ideales porque no dejan marcas si los utilizas de la manera correcta. Otra herramienta útil para los fondos es el rodillo de goma espuma porque no deja pinceladas. Si la idea es una buena textura podés usar pinceles de cerda y si el chalk paint va a ser el estilo, un lindo brochón.
Siempre hay que tener el cuenta que un buen producto terminado, requiere que hagas tres manos de pintura, lijando entre cada una y tomando como recomendación que la primera sea de color blanco, poniéndole dedicación para que la pintura sea bien absorvida. Observando este consejo vas a notar que la superficie, una vez dada la tercera mano, es mas lisa al tacto.
Para dar una buena terminación final, es recomendable usar barnices al agua, lacas al agua o esmalte sintético completamente transparente.
Es muy importante que tengas en cuenta que si usas pátinas o betún al solvente, siempre debes proteger con un barniz al solvente.
Cuando la pintura que usas es al agua, siempre lavar con agua y jabón blanco las herramientas, y cuando usas pátinas o betunes al solvente lavar los utensilios con aguarrás especial.

* ¿En que consiste la técnica del decapado? *
El decapado es una técnica artesanal que se utiliza para darle a la madera un aspecto envejecido. Con ella podemos transformar los muebles viejos en bellas piezas de mobiliario vintage y hacer hermosas decoraciones para nuestra casa.
El decapado es una hermosa forma de decorar puertas, mesas y todo tipo de muebles. Con esta técnica además podemos decorar cajas y preparar una superficie para hacer un decoupage.

Pintura y lija para envejecer la madera.
Para lograr una superficie de textura áspera y aspecto envejecido, podemos pintar y lijar la madera dejando espacios en donde se combinen ambos colores.
El procedimiento es muy simple. Preparamos la madera, aplicamos una capa de pintura (mejor si es acrílico mate) y dejamos secar.
Una vez seca, lijamos en algunos sectores dejando que aparezcan las sucesivas capas de pintura anterior.
Lijamos bien y sellamos la superficie con barniz o cera.



* Otro tip para tener en cuenta con la técnica del decapado *
El encurtido es una técnica de decapado que nos permite aclarar la madera que se envejece con el tiempo.
¿Cómo se aplica? Luego de lijar, pintamos la superficie con un producto que aumenta los reflejos claros y realza el contraste de las vetas de la madera.
Comenzamos por lijar bien la madera para abrir el grano. Si está pintada, necesitaremos aplicar antes un removedor de pintura y lijar la superficie completamente.
Aplicamos la pintura con un cepillo, siguiendo la veta de la madera y limpiamos enseguida con un paño seco. Hay que recordar que no pintamos la madera, sino que solamente la debemos teñir.
Por último, dejamos que la madera se seque completamente y luego la cubrimos con una laca o barniz.

We recommend the Casan line brushes. To cover the base you could use a soft, synthetic, goat or pony hair brush. Synthetics are ideal because they do not leave marks if you use them in the right way. Another useful tool for backgrounds is the foam roller because it does not leave brush strokes. If the idea is a good texture you can use bristle brushes and if the style is going to be chalk paint, a nice thick brush.
Always keep in mind that a good finished product requires to apply three layers of paint, sanding between each one and taking as a recommendation that the first be white, applying it with dedication, so that the paint is well absorbed. Observing this advice you will notice that the surface, once given the third hand, is smoother to the touch.
To provide a good completion, it is recommended to use water-based varnishes, water-based lacquers, and completely transparent synthetic enamel.
It is very important that you bear in mind that if you use patinas or solvent-based bitumen, you should always protect with a solvent-based varnish.
When the paint you use is water-based, always wash the tools with water and white soap, and when you use polishes or solvent-based polishes, wash them with special turpentine.

How to apply? After sanding, we paint the surface with a product that increases the light reflections and enhances the contrast of the wood grain.
We start by sanding the wood well to open the grain. If it is painted, we will need to apply a paint remover first and sand the surface completely.
We apply the paint with a brush, following the grain of the wood and immediately clean with a dry cloth. We must remember that we do not paint the wood, we only have to stain it.
Lastly, we let the wood dry completely and then we cover it with a lacquer or varnish.
